Why Medication Management?

Medication, along with therapy, can be a powerful combination for treating many mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, sleep issues, and schizophrenia.

Our team of psychiatrists works closely with each individual to create a treatment plan that is safe, effective, and personalized. Medication management is an important part of this process, as not every medication works the same way for everyone.

What is Medication Management?

Medication management involves carefully choosing the right medication, adjusting the dosage when needed, and closely monitoring how a person responds over time. This helps reduce unwanted side effects and ensures that the treatment is working well.

It's normal for some medications to take time before showing results. For example, many antidepressants can take 4–6 weeks to start helping. In the beginning, you might also notice side effects—especially if the medication is new to you or if it interacts with other medicines you're taking.
